Cell C continues to bridge the digital divide with a digital lab at Eastwood Secondary School in KwaZulu Natal.

Eastwood Secondary school in Pietermaritzburg had a celebratory moment as Cell C unveiled a new digital lab, in partnership with the Department of Basic Education to enhance digital connectivity in schools.

In this recent handover, Cell C again transformed a classroom into a modern digital hub, complete with laptops, screens, a projector and more. The revamp also included a fresh coat of paint, desks and chairs. Additionally, the lab is seamlessly integrated with Cell C sponsored data, ensuring students and teachers are well connected.

Lethiwe Hlatshwayo, Executive Head of Corporate Affairs and Communications at Cell C, remarked on the warmth and gratitude from the school, expressing pride in contributing to the digital advancement of youth.

Effective partnerships, like the one with the Department are pivotal in narrowing the digital divide in our country. Since 2021, Cell C has successfully established digital labs in regions like Mpumalanga, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and now Kwa-Zulu Natal.
