Monday, 19 October 2020

Cell C’s successful WIN WIN WIN promotion for 2020 has concluded and we’re proud to unveil the winner of this year’s grand prize of R50 000.

The promotion ran from 11th August until the 13th of September this year offering fantastic prizes for all Cell C customers who signed up or upgraded to SmartData, Fibre, or Pinnacle Contract contracts. Prizes included data bundles, smartphones, laptops, tablets, shopping vouchers valued at R1 000 each, and cash prizes of R2 000 each.

Three lucky customers also won an LG Premium Appliance collection valued at R50 000, which includes a washing machine, a fridge, a dishwasher, a microwave and a 55-inch Ultra High Definition TV.

All customers who took part in the WIN WIN WIN promotion received a free mask and sanitizer with their package. They could also choose to donate their winnings to a list of charities. Over the length of the promotion, Cell C gave away over a million rand’s worth of prizes.

A delighted Ms Magda Goosen collected her grand priza at Cell C’s store in the Midlands Mall in Pietermaritzburg. Along with the grand prize that was deposited into her account, she received Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) for two friends and family members as well as a bouquet of flowers.

“I can’t fully describe my excitement,” says Ms Goosen. “While I was upgrading my smartphone – as if the great service wasn’t enough – I received this amazing unexpected gift!”

“Thank you so much Cell C! I will be taking my family on a long overdue getaway to the coast and carefully consider how to use the rest of my prize money wisely.”

“We are delighted to see the impact that this year’s WIN WIN WIN campaign has had on the lives of many of our customers,” says Simo Mkhize, Cell C’s Chief Commercial Officer.

“Congratulations to all the winners. We thank all customers who took part and we’re thrilled to have been able to provide some fun and rewards in this most difficult year,” he says.
