Cell C is pleased to welcome Juliet Mhango as its new Chief Human Resources Officer.

 Mhango brings to the position key skills of leading transformation within businesses and the ability to manage the skills chain of a large number of employees. She joins Cell C from Life Healthcare, where she was Group HR Executive since 2015.

 “With Cell C’s key focus on the development of its employees and with the large number of staff across various regions, we look forward to Juliet’s expertise in this regard,” says Cell C Chief Executive Officer, Jose Dos Santos.

 At Life Healthcare, Mhango led a project driving the transformation of women focusing on talent management. The project aimed to improve the attractiveness and rebrand of the nursing profession, attracting top talent to the business to fill those roles.

 Mhango has also held high-level positions at the Momentum Group, as Executive Head of Human Capital at Momentum Retail from 2011 until 2015 and Head of Human Resources at Momentum Wealth from 2009.

 Her working career extends across the financial services sector, including Standard Bank, Sanlam Capital and Ernst & Young.

 Mhango has a passion for using innovative ways to approach the HR environment, which makes her a perfect fit for Cell C. She holds a BA in Industrial Psychology from the University of Witwatersrand and a Master of Business Leadership from UNISA.

 “I know that Juliet will ensure that Cell C’s journey of employee empowerment and career growth are executed with innovation and care. We are pleased to welcome such a skilled professional to our ranks,” says Dos Santos.

Mhango will begin her tenure with Cell C on 1 September.
