Cell C has come to the aid of an elderly man in dire need of a wheelchair as part of its ongoing Random Acts of Kindness initiative.

Sixty eight year old Buyisile Jaji Njajula has been paralysed for the past five years due to a stroke. Njajula, who lives in Walmer Township in Port Elizabeth, attends the local Methodist church and was given an old wheelchair by his pastor Xolile Zide. The wheelchair broke and Njajula was again immobile as there was no money to replace it.

Cell C was so touched by Buyisile’s story and decided to assist.

This week Cell C Managing Executive for the Eastern Cape, Mr Louis Burger handed over a brand new wheelchair as well as food and data vouchers to a grateful Buyisile and his family.
