The Independent Communication Authority of South Africa (ICASA) has requested that as of the 24 March 2018, ALL cellular network providers standardise certain short codes.
The short codes harmonisation is in an effort to enable the Regulator to create an environment that will easily give guidance on future assignments for short code requirements.
Due to the mandatory “short codes harmonisation” enforced by ICASA, Cell C will be introducing new short codes in accordance with the numbering guidelines prescribed to the networks.

To allow our customers to familiarise themselves with the changes, both the old and new codes will run concurrently for the time being.
All USSD codes remain UNCHANGED.
