Cell C is proud to announce the winner of the third grand prize in its Change Your Summer, Change Your World Summer Campaign this year. Ms Nokuthula Veronica Dingiswayo from Benoni, Gauteng has won a brand-new Nissan NP200 utility bakkie after entering the campaign’s Spin & Win promotion.

“I have been so looking forward to the day of the handover,” she says. “I didn’t believe this would ever happen to me. I got a call first thing in the morning and I thought I was dreaming. Then, when the emails about the handover started, suddenly I believed this was happening.”

Like many South Africans, Ms Dingiswayo has had a tough 2020. She says her win in Cell C’s Summer Campaign has had a massive impact on her life.

“The word ‘change’ doesn’t cover it,” she says. “This win has transformed my life. After this year, this gift is incredible. This has been such a bad year for everyone and something like this feels like a real blessing.”

“I still can’t believe I won. I’m pinching myself. I won by entering just once!”

Ms Dingiswayo says that she’s considering the options her bakkie can help her realise.

“This is the best way I could think of to end this year,” she says. “Thank you, Cell C! I will be playing my Spin & Win every chance going forward and encouraging my friends and family to do the same. If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.”

All Cell C bakkie winners get to choose a charity of their choice, and Ms Dingiswayo has made a donation to Gift Of The Givers Foundation. Gift of the Givers is the largest disaster response non-governmental organisation of African origin on the African continent.

“This topped off everything for me,” she says. “The chance to donate to charity touched my heart.”

“We’re so pleased that our Summer Campaign has made such a difference in Ms Dingiswayo’s life,” says Simo Mkhize, Cell C’s Chief Commercial Officer. “This has been a tough year for everyone and we’re  pleased to be able to help our customers change their summer and change their lives.”
