Monday,
Dear Learners
It is with great pride and admiration that I welcome you to #SaveTheClassOf2020. This programme is aimed at helping you all finish your Matric and excell in your Maths and Science examinations. Cell C is honoured to be a part of this initiative.
This year has presented you all with massive challenges. The COVID-19 virus and the national lockdown have seen schools closed, remote learning become the new normal and learners such as you have struggled to maintain study workloads as the schooling year moved online.
In the face of these challenges, you have persevered and we are proud of you. Cell C is glad to be able to be a part in helping you take your next steps towards completing your matric.
In partnership Primestars #SavingTheClassOf2020 project, Cell C is committed to helping learners across South Africa, complete their Matric.
In a year of unprecedented challenges, Cell C and Primestars are glad to be able to provide the class of 2020 with this opportunity. Youth education and guidance is part of Cell C’s DNA and we’re glad to be able to help you during this difficult time. We continue to empower our youth through various initiatives like the Cell C Take a Girl Child Work Day®, Data Science Academy, learnerships and bursary programmes.
Maths and Science are critical subjects for the future skills requirements of this country and globally. At Cell C we aim to empower our youth with critical skills. This is the reason we have partnered with Primestars on this initiative.
As Nelson Mandela said, "education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."
We wish you all well with your studies and best of luck for the upcoming exams.
Regards,
Juliet Mhango
